Rocky Mountaineer offers luxury train journeys through the stunning landscapes
of the Canadian Rockies. The trains are equipped with large 80” x 80” windows,
also know as sky dome windows, which allows users to take in all of the views.
However, the massive dome windows allow a lot of warm sunlight in which in turn,
overworks the HVAC System and also heats up the cabins

Challenge

We installed a transparent film that keeps the natural light flowing but also cuts down the heat up to 7 degrees.
